Mission Statement: To provide a Christian sports environment that nurtures both the body and soul by promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and the Gospel of Christ through sports.
Our league offers basketball for boys and girls 4K-6th grade and cheerleading for girls 4K-6th grade.
All games will be played on Saturdays starting in January 2015. A total of 6 games will be played, and every child will play a minimum of 2 quarters. Score will be kept, sportsmanship will be stressed, and the fundamentals of basketball will be taught.

Registration is open October 2 - November 6; NO LATE REGISTRATION. Cost is $60 per child; if multiple children from the same family, 1st child is $60 and other children are $50 each. Children opting to participate in both basketball and cheerleading will be required to pay the registration fee for each (to cover the uniform cost). A Jamoboree will be held Saturday, November 8th for 2nd - 6th graders. Coaches will be evaulating players during the Jamboree for team drafts. This is an effort to try and keep all teams competitive. Check the schedule below for times.
2nd - 4th Grades: 9:00-9:45 AM
5th - 6th Grades: 10:00-10:45 AM
Special Note for Cheerleaders: Participants need to provide their own shorts or cheer briefs to go under their skirt; AND to ensure correct sizes, participants will need to meet with the coaches to try on uniforms. Coaches will contact participants with more info.

Susan Warner wrote an 1860 novel called Say and Seal. In Warner's novel, one of the characters quotes a poem to comfort a dying child...
"Jesus loves me—this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to him belong,—
They are weak, but he is strong."
Warner's sister, Anna Bartlett Warner, put the above lyrics into a Christian hymn. Later, in 1862, William Bradbury added a tune and chorus ("Yes Jesus loves me!...") to the hymn that has become one of most well-known and beloved Christian songs of all time: "Jesus Loves Me."
Children, however, are not the only "weak" people who need to know God's strength! Every one of us needs to admit our weaknesses and grow STRONGER - in Christ.
