Fall Emphasis

New Sermon Series Begins September 18!

"WALLS"... Sometimes they need to be conquered. Sometimes they need to be faced. Sometimes they need to be built. And, sometimes they need to be torn down.

Join us Sundays for worship @ 8:30am, 10am or 11am as Pastor Kyle begins this new 4-week series exploring some of the "WALLS" in the Bible & some of the "WALLS" in our lives.

          All are welcome!

Discovering the Christian Life

"Discovering the Christian Life" ...

... A 13-week session beginning Sunday, September 11 @ 6 pm, in FMC Room 305.

This Christianity 101-like course will help Christ-Followers, especially new believers, learn how to live a life pleasing to the Lord. It's also for those rusty on the basics, and will equip us with the tools to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus. Lessons include how to study the Bible, prayer, sin & salvation, spiritual warfare, praise & worship, Christian fellowship & service, and living & sharing one's faith. If interested, call the church office for more information; or join us Sundays at 6 pm.  All are welcome.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. 25 years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.

Individuals who participate in Celebrate Recovery support groups report that they gain new insights, find freedom from addictive and compulsive behaviours and develop skills for building healthier relationships with themselves, with God and with others.

Things we are:  a safe place to share; a refuge; a place of belonging; a place to care for others and be cared for; a place where respect is given to each member; a place where confidentiality is highly regarded; a place to learn; a place to demonstrate genuine love; a place to grow and become strong again; a place for progress; a place to take off your mask and allow others to know who you are; a place for healthy challenges and healthy risks; a possible turning point in your life.

Our CR groups meet 6:30-8:30 pm each Thursday at the Chapel (on the hill) on our church campus.  Contact the church office for more info (803.593.3114)
