Exciting Small Groups Stuff!!

Sunday, February 12 - 5 pm:  "Courageous"
SundaySu os All are invited to watch the movie "Courageous" in the Teen Worship Center.  Tim Barton's group is sponsoring this event and will lead an 8-week Bible Study based on "Courageous" after Easter.

Starting Sunday, February 19 at 6 pm:  "Sharing Jesus Without Fear"
Pastor Wayne will lead a 5-week group in the FMC cafeteria called "Sharing Jesus Without Fear."  Everyone is invited!  This is a great opportunity to become better equipped to share the hope you have in Christ with others.

Starting Sunday, February 19 at 6 pm: "The Life & Theology of John Wesley"
This 5-week group, led by Scott Looman, will be an overview and discussion of one of the theological forefathers of our church, John Wesley.  This group will meet where Pastor Mike McAdory's group normally meets (Room 313-14) through Easter.  Following Easter, Pastor Mike's group will resume meeting.

Starting Sunday, February 26 at 6 pm: "The BRICK"
This new small group, led by Jason & Sara Shealy, will meet in Room 304 and is designed for couples in the 25-40 age range.  It will include Bible Study and lots of opportunities for fellowship.  Contact the Shealys at (803)232-1708 if you are interested in more information.

February 11-12 ... Faith Promise 2012

Join us for our annual Faith Promise Weekend, February 11-12 with special speaker, Dr. Nina Gunter.  Dr. Gunter has served as a pastor, denominational leader of Nazarene Missions International, and is a retired General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene.  She and her husband, Dr. Moody Gunter, have a rich legacy and love for Midland Valley.  You will be blessed by the Gunters!

MV Community Ministry Fair ....
        We have invited numerous local ministries from our community to be a part of our annual Ministry Fair on Sunday, February 12 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Family Ministries Center.  We have combined this year's fair with Faith Promise as a reminder that missions begins at home.  We encourage you to make plans to walk through the gym on Faith Promise Sunday so that you can increase your awareness of ways to serve others both inside and outside the walls of our church.  Please contact Pastor Wayne Cheselka to help with the Fair, or for more info.
