The church library is constantly being updated with new materials and contains approximately 5,000 books, videos, CD’s, and DVD’s available to members and regular attendees. Check-out is simple; no need for a library card. Books are checked out for a two-week period and can be renewed. Materials are available for all ages, including toddler board books, picture books, early readers, children and young adult chapter books, and a wide range of adult fiction and non-fiction.
Adult Christian fiction includes many genres, among them, legal, medical, and political drama, suspense and thrillers, romance, mysteries, Amish, historical, and biblical fiction.
Adult non-fiction books include reference materials such as Bible dictionaries, atlases, etc., devotional material, including one-year Bibles, and a variety of books on topics such as Christian living, spiritual growth, prayer, forgiveness, comfort, the Nazarene denomination, finances, love and marriage, parenting, sports, humor, and biography. The subjects are clearly marked on each shelf and librarians on duty will be happy to help you find what you’re looking for.
The library is located in the overflow nearest the church office and is open between Sunday morning services, after Sunday morning second service, before and after Wednesday night activities, and before Sunday evening small groups. There is a book return available at all times.
