Music Ministry

We believe in worshipping our Lord. Worship services have long been a strength for Midland Valley. We include a variety of styles of music to involve everyone in experiencing the joy of worship! Following are just a few ways to be involved in the Music Ministry:

Voices in Praise is our adult choir and are a worship-leading choir--essentially, they are the 'praise team.'  They sing in the Sunday worship services at 9 and 10:45 AM. In addition, Voices in Praise, our orchestra and drama team do musical and drama presentations usually at Christmas and Easter.

Also, we have an Orchestra on a weekly basis that includes students and adults from our congregation. They assist in worship as well as playing a feature tune occasionally that may best be described as "NazJazz."  To participate in the orchestra, players need to be at or near high school level and know all notes for their instrument and be comfortable playing in most any key signature.

Soloists and Praise Team Singers are used occasionally to help lead our congregation in worship.

Ministry through Drama is sometimes used as part of the worship service as we seek to use a variety of mediums to convey the eternally important message of the Gospel.
